We ask you to read carefully the following general conditions. By booking a stay, you agree to fully comply with these conditions.
Booking conditions
Rentals are personal. It is therefore forbidden to sublet or transfer the pitch to a third party. The booking will not be considered as definite before receipt of the signed contract accompanied by a deposit of 25% of the rental price (with a minimum of €130), the €32 booking fee, and eventually the cancellation insurance. The total amount of the stay has to be paid for a booking under 7 days. On receipt of your booking and deposit (including booking fee and cancellation insurance non-deductible), we will send you a booking confirmation depending on the places available.
Failing full payment 30 days prior to arrival, Camping Domaine de Gil reserves the right to consider the booking as cancelled.
Before returning the reservation contract, please check availability with the booking service of the campsite.
The campsite keeps the right to refuse the access to families whose number of members exceeds the capacity of the rented accommodation and if the names do not correspond at the arrival.
Absence of the right of withdrawal:
Article L 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, providing for a fourteen-day withdrawal period from the day after the customer takes possession of the property or accepts the service offer, is not applicable.
Contracts for the provision of accommodation, transport and catering or leisure services do not provide for the application of the withdrawal period (see Article L121-20-10 of the Consumer Code). The Customer therefore has no right of withdrawal under this contract.
INTERNAL RULES (extract)
Campers are bound to respect the internal rules of the campsite and those in force at the swimming pool.
The place « car park » of the mobile home or pitch is made for only one vehicle. Any other vehicle must be parked outside of the campsite.
The access to the swimming-pool area is regulated by the wearing of a bracelet and only reserved to the customer of the campsite. (SHORTS, BOXERSHORTS, BERMUDA SHORTS ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN – SWIMMING TRUNKS COMPULSORY). It’s forbidden to drink, eat and smoke in the swimming pool area. Big inflatable is forbidden in the swimming pool.
Charcoal or wood barbecues are strictly forbidden on the campsite. Gas or electric barbecues are tolerated.
BRACELET: wearing of the bracelet is compulsory from the arrival and during all the stay (it has to be seen). We will charge for any lost or damage.
VISITORS: they are allowed between 11.00 am and 10.30 pm with the payment of €4 per day and per person and €2 for children under 7. They have to park their car at the car park outside of the campsite and come at the reception (or at the bar if it’s closed) at their arrival. Dogs and access to the swimming-pool area is forbidden for security and insurance reasons. Visitors have to wear a bracelet (it has to be seen), given at the reception or at the bar after registration. Any abuse from visitors or vacationers can make them expulsed from the campsite.
TRAFFIC: speed is limited to 10 km/h. The gates are closed between 11.00 pm and 7.00 am. Vehicles may not be driven within the campsite during this time.
NOISE: Night’s rest has to be respected by all the campers between 11.30 pm and 7 am.
The campsite is not responsible for any damage or deterioration that may occur to campers personal belongings.
The management reserves the right to evict, without notice or refund, anyone who does not respect the internal rules or who has given false information concerning the occupants of the plot.
PITCH:
arrival between 2pm and 7pm – departure 12am.
In July and August, we will take in consideration only reservation for at least 7 days. Pitches should be vacated before 12 am. It has to be clean, any damages will be charged. Any plot not released by 12.00 pm will be automatically invoiced for an extra night. If you want to arrive in the morning, you should book the night before. The balance of your holiday must be paid 30 days before your arrival. A permanent armbands will be given to you at your arrival.
ACCOMODATION:
The keys will be given only between 4pm and 7pm. In July and August, the mobile homes will only be rented by week, from Saturday till Saturday or from Sunday till Sunday. Possibility of rental another day, only during low season and depending on availabilities. Please let us know before 6.00 pm if you are going to arrive late so that we can make arrangements for your arrival on the site. If you want to arrive in the morning, you should book the night before. Departures are possible from 7.00 am to 10.00 am during the high season and 9.00 am to 10.00 am in low season. After this time you will be invoiced for an extra day. The rental accommodation will be inspected. You have to take an appointment at the reception within 72 hours before your departure. If it is left entirely clean without any missing or damaged items, the deposit shall be refunded to you. The retention of the deposit does not preclude additional compensation in the event of the expenses being greater than the amount of the deposit. In the event of a late arrival or early departure, the dates booked will be payable in full, along with any attached charges. A deposit from €200 to €450 for the mobile home and a deposit of €100 for the cleaning (to be paid by credit card or in cash) will be requested upon arrival and will be returned at the end of the stay, after deducting the possible damage and/or missing and cleaning fees if the location is not delivered up in the best possible clean status or if the tenant smoked inside the mobile home. In no case the key of the mobile home can be given without the both deposits. An inventory list (with price) has to be verified and given back in the 24h. Then any complaints will not be taken in consideration.
Tents are not authorised outside the accommodation. The maximum number of persons (babies and children included) occupying a mobile home should not be exceeded Please remember to bring your own sheets, quilt covers and pillowcases. Smoking is prohibited in all rental accommodations.
The charges for water, gas and electricity are included in the hiring fee of a mobile home; you will be charge for an abnormal use.
CANCELLATIONS AND ALTERATIONS
1. Booking alterations: modifications of your booking may be made, subject to availability and with the agreement of Domaine de Gil.
2. Cancellation: any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing the earlier possible. In absence of any notification from you regarding a change of arrival date (confirmed in writing by us by forwarding a new booking confirmation), the pitch or accommodation may be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date specified in the contract and you will consequently forfeit your booking.
3. Cancellation by Domaine de Gil: in the event of cancellation by Domaine de Gil, the stay will be reimbursed in full except in case of force majeure. The cancellation shall not however incur the payment of damages and interest.
4. Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing (letter with recorded delivery).
If cancellation occurs:
• More than 30 days before the start of the holiday: the prepaid deposit shall be retained by Domaine de Gil.
• Less than 30 days before the start of the holiday: the full cost of the holiday shall be retained by Domaine de Gil.
5. Unused facilities
Any stay that is interrupted or cut short (late arrival, early departure) by you shall not give rise to reimbursement.
A cancellation and interruption insurance can be closed on a voluntary basis and needs to be settled at the same time as the deposit payment.
Subscribing to this insurance, you are guaranteed under certain circumstances. The conditions and limits of this insurance are available upon request.
PETS
Pets are allowed within conditions:
pets are not allowed in high season and in mobile home.
one single domestic animal is allowed on the pitch only in low season and on condition that it has been given up during the reservation.
dogs of the 1st and 2nd category (please refer to French legislation) and guard dogs are not allowed on the campsite.
the vaccination certificates of your pet must be up-to-date.
they must be kept on lead at all times and owners must remove stains caused.
pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area and shops.
the owner will be held responsible for any nuisance and/or damage caused by his pet, any damage will be charged to him. In case of too much nuisance, the campsite keeps the right to ask the owner to leave the pitch, without reimbursement.
Minors
For safety reasons, and as the campsite ground is not part of a Holiday and Leisure Centre within the meaning of Decree n° 2002-883 of May 3, 2002 and is not suitable for collective or individual stays away from home for minors under the age of 18, not accompanied by their legal administrators, minors must be accompanied by at least one of their parents or legal administrators.
IMAGE RIGHTS
During your stay, you may be photographed and appear in all publications and all types of media with no time limit. In case of refusal, you must notify it by registered letter before your arrival. The campsite makes a commitment not to strike a blow at your reputation and at your private life.
PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with Data Protection Act n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer is informed that nominative or personal data indicated as mandatory and which is collected within the framework of the booking is necessary to make the booking. The Customer has a right of access, rectification and opposition to the transfer of this data to third parties that he may exercise by writing to DOMAINE DE GIL – 91 Route de Vals – 07200 UCEL.
IMPORTANT
Brochures and websites may contain misprints, omissions or printing errors. Please confirm prices when booking as only the prices mentioned on your booking confirmation are subject to contract.
PRICES AND TAXES
• Prices shown are effective for the 2022 season. They correspond to one night and are quoted in euros, including VAT.
• The tourist tax is €0.59/night/pers +18 years old.
• Eco-participation is €0.21/night/pers
COMPLAINTS
In case of dispute and after having seized the client service of the campsite, any client of the campsite has the possibility to seize a consumer mediator, within a maximum of one year from the date of the written complaint , by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, adressed to the campsite.
